June 8, 2013 Walking Day Two
Today is the first full walking day in Spain. From here on will be sings like the one in the photo stating the KM remaining to Santiago de Compostela.
The walk was only 20kms and I finished in it in 4 hours. I continue to meet interesting people along the way. Today I walked a ways with a father and daughter from Iowa. Turns out they are believers and we swapped stories. It really made the time fly!
The day ended in the town of Zubiri. I've stayed here two times before. Once with Christopher, once with Matthew. This time my new friend Luis made reservations at an Albergue called Zaldiko. It was small, but we were the first to arrive and had the pick of beds and first dibs of the showers.
